This small but dynamic carving by Judas Ullulaq shows a musk ox attacking a hunter. The hunter is clearly terrified and running for his life. As is common in Inuit sculpture, the artist has disregarded the relative sizes of men and musk oxen. The carving is precise, and the emotion is unmistakable.
